  • Complete Turnkey VO65 for sale. major refit and ready to race including lots of spares and a container workshop. Team Jajo had the most elaborate refit before the last Ocean Race and is ready to go around the planet again. Designed when it was still the Volvo Ocean race and meant as a strict one-design class. The boats are robust and fast, still holding speed and distance records.

  • Team JaJo raced the Ocean Race 2023 and became second. The same boat that raced 2 times in The Ocean Race under the TEAM BRUNEL and became second in the edition 2014-15 and third in 2017-18. He won several legs and very close to the overall victory in the last round ending third in the last race. Built in 2013, first launched in early 2014.

  • The boat is completely refitted by Royal Huysman in summer 2022, with new paint underwater, a deck with recent non-skid, new seadek in the cockpit. The boat has been fully NDT tested by QI of the hull, deck keel, mast, boom, rudders and all bearings, axels and cylinders of the canting keel system.

Description The VO65 Jajo is a high-performance racing yacht designed for offshore racing at the highest level. Built by Persico Marine in Italy, the boat features cutting-edge design and construction techniques, making it both fast and reliable. Jajo was originally built for the 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race, where it was skippered by the legendary sailor Bouwe Bekking. In the race, she had a successful run, finishing in second place overall, just behind the winning boat, Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing. Since then, Jajo has continued to perform well in various offshore races, including the Rolex Fastnet Race and the Transatlantic Race. In 2021, the Jajo competed in The Ocean Race Europe, where it finished in fourth place overall. Jajo features state-of-the-art navigation and communication equipment, as well as a high-tech sail inventory that allows it to perform well in a wide range of conditions. The boat is crewed by a team of highly experienced sailors, including several Volvo Ocean Race veterans. Overall, this VO65 is a top-performing racing yacht with a proven track record of success in some of the world’s most challenging offshore races.
