Under current ownership, Summer Storm 52 has proven to be highly competitive in both inshore and offshore handicap racing. She is available for viewing by appointment in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Spar upgrades:

The mast had additional laminate to allow for a single reef while racing offshore and exit for GS halyard. The boom also had a reef lock installed with additional laminate re-enforcing.

A Genoa Staysail halyard was installed.
