Since acquisition in February 2024, Summer Storm 52 has seen continuous refits and updates to all sails and sailing systems. New sail inventory sourced from Doyle Sails NZ grand prix division. Under current ownership, Summer Storm 52 has proven to be highly competitive in both inshore and offshore handicap racing. She is available for viewing by appointment in Pensacola, Florida.

Spar upgrades:

The mast had additional laminate to allow for a single reef while racing offshore and exit for GS halyard. The boom also had a reef lock installed with additional laminate re-enforcing.

A Genoa Staysail halyard was installed.
