A Reichel Pugh 42 ‘Khumbu’ was originally designed for the GP42 rule in 2007. The hull is carbon pre-preg foam sandwich with a Kerr designed fabricated steel fin with composite fairings, whilst the rudder  has a Reichel Pugh carbon blade and stock with carbon tiller. The boat came to the UK and was extensively modified in 2016 to compete in the Fast 40 Class.  These modifications included removal of the coach roof, a new deeper keel fin and a new taller Hall Spars high modulus carbon mast. 

Khumbu has just benefitted from a full refit including re-fair and paint job to the hull and deck. She has a great track record, offering a winning design formula and high spec inventory. She is  available as an instant turn-key solution ready to compete in the revitalised Admirals cup or would be equally at home under ORC.
