Back from Fort de France
After my participation in the Cap Martinique double-handed Transat on the Figaro 2 with my Portuguese friend Miguel Antao, I brought back my own JPK 9.60 which I had rented to the youngest crew in the same race.

The eastward crossing to Horta (Azores) took me longer than expected due to very light winds. Then there was the now-permanent sargassum algae. Finally, throughout the return crossing we knew we did not have enough food onboard… Until the day before departure I planned to be alone but when I left I was navigating two-handed!!
