The Fife Regatta returns to the west of Scotland this June for its fifth edition in 22 years. Sailed in the unequalled deep and sheltered waters of the Firth of Clyde, this unique event not only pays homage to the three generations of William Fifes who designed and built many of the world’s most exquisite yachts at Fairlie, but also to the Clyde’s traditional resort yachting stations, including Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, once home to the Royal Northern Yacht Club, and Hunter’s Quay near Dunoon, where the Royal Clyde Yacht Club could once claim to be the largest in the world in both its number of members and the total tonnage of their yachts.
